fishing shorncliffe jetty area

hi all any 1 know if u can catch squid or cutle fish from the jetty at shorncliff and can they only get caught at night do u just use a jig how is it as a fishing spot

hey mate if u take me along I might be able to bring my 4 squid jigs and catch us a feed! Just watch those spikes on the inflatable :D

Yes, you can catch squid on the jetty. I've only fished during the night so I cn't really say about daytime. Just walk out and look for ink stains on the deck, usually a good indicator as to where to have a go. Have a go at Woody Point jetty as well.
