Does anybody know or can anybody send me in the direction of finding out what requirments are needed to join the Qld fisheries.

Depends on what part of Fisheries you mean Corza85.
Boating Patrol Officer ?? Aquaculture ?? Research ??
For Info on QB&FP Officer, talk to Peter Leech on 32252160.
I know the other areas you will need a University Degree in possibly Marine Science or Biology.

Very few vacancies have occurred within QFS in the last couple of years, not sure what the recruitment will be like in the near future ??

thanx craigie. I heard that to become a patrol officer all i need is a highschool pass in marine science, biological science and agricultural science and then attend tafe for 6 months and get a certificate in fisheries resource management and then hopefully get employed by someone ....... but i hav heard a lot of different things so i thought i might just ask if anyone knew for sure.. cheers
