hey fellas
while helping mum clean some squid for dinner last night we came across a couple of 6 inch squids which were really 'full' about as big as they could stretch when we looked inside we could see a tail, so we pulled the fish out and it turned out to be a 4 inch sweetlip how big do the fish have to be before they are crunched up, coz i always thought because squid have such a tiny beak they have to crunch it up but apprently not?
cheers jack

Jack if the fish was in the hood of the squid then the squid was probably netted and the fish was amongst them having a feed, quite often in this scenerio, fish end up inside the hoods of squid thru the pressure of netting, (water pressure, weight of the catch etc) another sample of by catch
cheers.
