how do i set up a wire trace for shark fishing i know how to attatch it to the hook except how do i attach it to the line???

If you're using single strand wire, haywire twist and barrel roll to a large swivel, preferably ball bearing, and any chosen knot to the other end of the swivel. Multi-strand wire requires a flemish eye and crimping. Most people use a double when shark fishing, as well as their wire trace. All the sort of helpful rigging stuff is in most of Geoff Wilson's books, probably worth a look.

if your buying the packet traces they have a swivel at the end of the wire, tie your line to it. otherwise put a swivel in the loop if your making your own.

lol, nah, the packet traces are crap, the snaps they use are too damn weak for the rest of the rig.
