some of the reason i cant go fishing.seems worse this year or is that because i am getting older and the bones need more lubrication and heat

Look for north on a map and try that direction.

blaze it hasnt been much better up here, however, like someone said, move, you will be warmer, but cant guarantee you will get more fishing days, this wind doesnt seem like it is going away.

I can't belive how good its been the last 2 weeks up this way (Cairns - Townsville). Barely a breath of wind and very warm days and coolish nights. Mind you winter (all 3 weeks of it) was very windy.

I get upset with swell to 2.5 meters. How do you put up with it.

swell peaking at around 8m today, been the same for the last few days and the same untill monday i reckon, also lots of rain, but the positive to this is you can never ever blame gear failure for the loss of a fish because it is well serviced(seems better serviced this year than any i can remember, although the grey matter is'nt quite so stable at the moment. AH SH.. just grin and bear it and enjoy fishing more when i do get to go. must also note that i now type with more than 1 finger LOL
