Proposed Spawning season closures Feedback

QLD Fisheries just rang me with feedback on the proposed season closures. It will only be as low down on the coast as the 25 deg mark, the man said "I think that is just above Indian Head"

I think spawning closures are a great idea!
At last we are getting some proper management in the fishery, unlike the bloody GBRMPA's ratbag scheme.
As well as being sensible, they will be easier to police.
A few of us up here suggested them to the DPI when they had their show and tell last November. Maybe someone is at last starting to listen to commonsense solutions to what some perceive to be problems.
