hi all me and a few mates are heading to turkey beach in about 4 weeks and would love some info on fishing in the bay and estuaries any hot spots and what we can catch there we have 2 435 hornetes also is there any reef or rocky structure close to the mouth of the bay.
many thanks gibbo
I'll let Cragie answer this one. Went there this time last year and the less said about that trip the better. Cragie has had a few successful trips up there but mainly chases the mudcrabs.
A tip - take plenty of insect repellant.

Thanks Sav, what can I say but October last year was a disaster !!!
Not many fish, a bit too windy to go too far and not one kepper Mud Crab for the whole week.
Take plenty of midgee spray and cold beer ;D ;D
Have had better trips from January through to Easter.
Lucky-Phill has had more success, not sure what time of year it was ??
Cheers. Craigie.
