Heard about this a while back but didn't think it would be put in so soon, there is going to be hell to pay over this one! could be something to do with the proposed ban of fishing in the trenches near flat rock during the classic. do you know what the ban will constitute - ie will trolling still be allowed, or no anchoring, no bait fishing? I for one am going to have my say, I know people who have fished flat rock for thirty years and never even seen a grey nurse, except maybe the odd mack that got a short back and sides on the way up!

Exactly SB ,points on a map ,provided by who ??? ,it's the fishing method that should be addressed ,to minimise any conflict.

general comment: all the other non-points are shark free ,right? ;D ;D

Fellas, fight like hell to protect your fishing spots. Because of the infamous Grey Bloody Nurse we have lost our only safe all-weather fishing spot, Julian Rocks. As for who tells the authorities they are suposedly there, there is only one group in our area, the dive industry. They have never liked us fishing this area so now they have got rid of us by using this mysterious shark. I like many other locals have fished around Julian Rocks all my life and never caught one! Dont let this happen up in your area, fight like hell to protect what is also your rights, to fish. Before its too late.
