Hi. I recently started fishing as a hobby and starting to really enjoy it. Unfortunately, my fishing reel got busted while I was hooked on a snag. The handle broke off the inner axis. The axis is the actual broken bit.

Does anyone know how this can be repaired or any tackle shops with these expertise?

I'm Melbourne based and the fishing reel model is a Mitchell Excellence 40. Any help is really appreciated!

hrmm fishing as a hobby... its only a matter of time til it becomes a way of life ;D

as for your question, i am sure that very soon you will descover that fishing requires more than one outfit.... :o
i cant say that i know the reel you are talking about so i cant comment. take it into any respectable tackle shop and they will be able to give you a quote to fix it. from there the choice is yours as to wether it is worth fixing or replacing.
hope this has helped you out.
good fishing.
