having been fishing all night friday and all day saturday l was considering joining webby on the bay sunday you can imagine my shock on sunday morning when my wife asked if l would mind terribly much if l would tidy up the yard around the clothes line . she explained its not so much the look but it was getting difficult to make it to the line and the weeds aregetting quiet tall . bloddy hell l thought how bad could they be , the line is out the back of the house off the laundry an area l never venture into , any way l decided to take a look maybe l could tidy it up quickly and still make it out with webby , mind you no gardening had been done there for at least 12 months ;D any way a picture tells a thousand words so check it out
sorry couldnt make it webby , next time
and to my brilliant wife , thank you for silently putting up with our growing jungle as l went fishing day after day .

Do what I did
turn as much of your property as possible into a dam, then you can mow the fish population with your fishing rod!
everyones happy then ;) ::)

One afternoon, a wealthy lawyer was riding in the back of his limousine when he saw two pathetic men eating grass by the road side.
He ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate, and asked, "Why are you eating grass?"
"We don't have money for food," the first man replied.
"Oh, well, you can come with me to my house," insisted the lawyer.
"But, sir, I got a wife and three kids here."
"Bring them along!" replied the lawyer.
"But how 'bout my friend?"
The lawyer turned to the other man and said, "You come with us, too."
"But, sir," said the friend, "I got a wife and six kids!"
"Bring them as well!" answered the lawyer as he headed for his limo.
They all climbed into the car, and once underway, one of the poor fellows says: "Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you."
The lawyer replied, "Glad to do it. You'll love my place. The grass is almost a foot tall."

You started some sorta bloody craze today mate, sat down the ramp for 2 hrs with bugman and peter, from 4am hoping the wind would drop after the rain squalls passed, nope . So home by 7, thought i'd jump back in the cot for a few z's, nope.
Missus says the lawn needs a tidy up, seeing house is on the market and your not fishin.
And when you live on 1 acre it just doenst take 1 hr to mow, and your whinging about a few weeds ;D
Dont think the cyclone would have enjoyed conditions in the bay this morning, as those that launched before us, made it as far as the pots before doing a about face.
So whens the invite to have a dabble in that dam, with the pub close at hand.
Next weekend she's 2 days in the bay.

You sure you're not the bloke on telly popping off to sharpen the mower blades ?
One word of advise..."zero"...those puppies won't be back !

G'day Spike,
Burn it off !!! Then cement it, the end result is no more wasted fishing weekends spent working in the yard.
Other option is, give me the 'Cyclone' for the next couple of weeks so you don't get distracted from your chores. I promise not to run it at less than 5000 rev's ;D ;D ;D
Webby, your block might be too big to cement ::), how about a flock of sheep ??? ;)
Cheers Guy's,
Craig.

i have the same problem kinda but asking my hubby to mow the lawn works in my advantage as i give him an ultimatum either stay and mow the lawn or take me with you fishing and i will tell you my lawn is higher then the cars but it works for me.
