GoldCoast Sportfishing Club Easter Bream Classic
In conjunction with ABT.
The Goldcoast Sportfishing Club are running a ¡¥Bream Classic¡¦ on Easter Friday 9th April 2004.
This one-day event is open to all-comers and will be teams based where two anglers can fish together and weigh in a total of 5 fish per team over the one day.
Rules for the ¡¥Bream Classic¡¦ will be based on the current ABT Tournament rules. These rules can be downloaded from www.bream.com.au.
„h Entry Fees: $110.00 per team to be payable by cash or cheque at the briefing or prior to the start on Friday. No entry fee, no fish.
„h Briefing Venue: Doug Burts Fishing Tackle, Gold Coast Highway Thursday 8th April at 7.00pm sharp. (UBD map ref. 29E6) Refreshments will be available as will door prizes kindly donated by Doug Burts Fishing Tackle.
„h Start and Weigh In Venue: Budds Beach, GoldCoast. (UBD Map ref. 39L3)
„h Fishing Times: 7.00am ¡V 2.00pm. Anglers must be present at Budds Beach by at least 6.30am on tournament day for scrutineering. Start sequence will be determined by random draw.
„h Fishing Area: South of the North Arm of the Coomera River only. Normal Goldcoast ABT tournament non-fishing areas apply.
„h Pre-fish ban: Due to the holiday weekend there will be NO pre-fish ban prior to the event.
„h Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the top 5 teams as follows based on 20 teams.
1st Place $400.00
2nd Place $250.00
3rd Place $150.00
4th Place $100.00
5th Place $100.00
Please note that should more or less teams enter the prize money will be increased or decreased correspondingly.
„h Entries: Entries are to be received prior to Friday 2nd April 2004.
