ok guys for all those who havent seen or cant be bothered sifting through the other thread. the meet and greet is a BBQ lunch tomorrow at la balsa park near the boat ramp on the southern side of the river.

A good day was had by those who attended the M and G at La balsa Park, Mooloolaba.......A big thank you as usual to Lucky Phil for organising a bbq lunch......was great to meet a few new faces and thanks Tim (zeeke) for trying to put us onto a fish.....unfortunatly the river was a tad FRESH......Sort of a strong coffee colour you might say.
Pity we didn,t make it last weekend ay guys......would have been offshore for sure.......always next time though.
Checked out the bar at point cartwright this morning and the swell was still a good 2 metres.........Fisherman02 and myself watched as the tide turned and all that fresh water started to empty out of the bar cutting.
Top bunch of guys to spend the day with and look forward to another M and G soon.

i only snagged off one pict for the day sorry guys heheh. was planning to have smiling faces holding nice river fush but they ran away like kiwi race horses when they realised Phill was around.. anyways.. heres a pict of Webby, Fillup and TimNQ standing on the weir at Parrearra Channel, tide was just peaking around then and during the surges poured over the weir
