wello-point boat ramp

Went fishing over to the Harry's, about 4pm Wednesday. Not too many fish, abit windy and bumpy. Came home 8.30pm to find the leads to Wello not working. Green light only and the lights on the jetty were out aswell. The other boat that came out with us nearly hit the unlit beacon! Has anyone noticed this the last couple of days??

Had a call from Wello local Johnny Grey today.
He's been on their case big time and now has it confirmed that the lights will be back on soon.
They wouldn't listen to him until he went down the unsafe' / likely to be sued tac and suddenly it's a priority.

Johnny, would have to just about have a ' fishing ' shed' set up down that way Dave.

THe red has been out for at least 2 weeks, noticed that coming in then. also noticed the addition of a green floating buoy in front of the jetty, not sure why, maybe to keep boats away from fishos on the jetty. why arent all the leads lit there, it is a pain in the neck, thats for sure. maybe this will be a part of the upgrade?

Haven't been out lately but it's only been the first two lit up and have to spotlight the rest. The other light on the jetty is a on - off affair but usually doesn't take to long to be fixed.
