hi

i've got a smart cast at home and while i dont take it with me everytime i go fishing the few times i have used it i found it to be very helpfull.it tells you the same information as a normal fishfinders. but you dont have to have a boat to use it.

i think there are now two types, with with a standard fishfinding screen that you can sit on the ground, or the newer type that has a screen that looks like a watch that goes on your wrist.

i want to get one for my Humminbird Matrix, its an accessorie feature for them, its simply a aerial/antenna type thing like a gps aerial and the smartcast wireless sonar, and u just plug it into the accessory port on your matrix then fire the smartcast out and uve got wireless sonar!!
