Hmax - Maximum wave height recorded for the period.
Hsig - Significant wave height. Average of the highest one third of the wave heights in a recorded time period.
Tpeak - Peak energy recorded from waves in a specific time.
Tz - Zero crossing time record - I think this is time recorded between 0.00+ waves.
I'm pretty sure this is correct - people let me know if not.
Hope this helps
Ben

On the wave Rider page http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/environmental_management/coast_and_oceans/waves_and_tides/wave_monitoring/ there is a link near the bottom "Glossary" that takes you to the info and explains about the bouys as well as the terminology.
