Stay home tomorrow and check out your gear!
Forecast is for SW winds 20-30 knots. The Bay is not a good place to be in that type of breeze!

Kaylor, you live close to the Brissy river. The upper reaches hold a fair few Aussy Bass. You can fish froom the bank in many locations with lures or bait. However, if you have a small tinny or a canoe, the options expand somewhat.
You may also wish to explore many of our dams which hold bass, yellowbelly and catties.
Theres a world of fishing opportunaties out there.
May I suggest you start with looking at Fitzys website. He has a wealth of info there and particularly for the novice angler new to any areas.

Good luck.

I dare say the closest saltwater is the wynnum/manly foreshores, canals and creeks, not to mention the mouth of the brisbane river. hope this helps
