Trading under the pseudo name of VMRVickyPt I made the unforgiveable sin of using this site as a bitching board for the never ending problems I have to contend with running a volunteer marine rescue unit. Just occasionally things build up and you want to lash out at anybody handy who will listen - dumb not smart! So to the members who bought this to my attention by telling me I was a whiner, #:-/ thanks guys, you were on the money. To my own squadron member "Sub Zero" who also reamed me out, when is your next proficiency assessment coming up Lloydy? :) Anyhow guys, too good a site to stuff up by moaning and groaning so am back now under the name of the Commodore. All positive and helpful from here on! Here's a pic me landing in Hong Kong. Nothing to with fishing whatsoever but makes me feel better! Ian

I guess your forgiven Ian,
Now that I've got my VHF licence is there any way that I can find out how I did on the test?

All is forgiven and welcome back
Isnt the difference between two commodores, only the year model or the colour.
Little humour.
Hey dont worry about getting upset. I would , especially when a lot of work goes into these courses.Hang in there

I actually understand how you were feeling. I assume it was like sitting in the dark yelling out for help and nobody hears you. The more you tried the more it got worse. Writting about it here in your mind relieved the stress for a short time but again you were alone and yelling louder.
I can imagine what you must go through, and its a credit to you for sticking it out, realising what you have done and brave enough to say sorry.
My hat goes off to you. Lets hope you guys get the support you need :)
cheers

How long you been with Air Niugini?, I might have been down the back making a mess of you rum supplies on several occasions last century.

Hi Ian now that your in a friendlier mood ;D and repented all your sins ;D, Thanks for the day at Vmr Vicky Pt, was great to meet some of you bods and ladies.
Oh by the way if your still happy, sorry for polishing the bottom on Vp1, those nasty sand banks just seem to jump right up in front of you ;D
But shes a great vessel all 8m of her, and those twin 200's sure send a thrill down ya spine. :o
Any chance of borrowing her for a offshore expedition. ;D
Keep up the good work.
regards
