Humpbacks

Hi guys I went fishing the other day to catch some salmon for the freezer and was blown away by having the privelege of watching six humpbacks playing and lazing about right in front of me. It was bloody brilliant and the salmon were on the bite too. I was wondering if any of you have had similiar experiences.

yep get them all the time find fish dont bite when they are around good to watch

Seen them right up on the reef in 25 foot of water .""Big animals"".

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago on my trip bak home ... we were coming home and about halfway in a humpy decided to leap out of the water, just 10m infront of the boat ... if we were goin any quiker we woulda hit him/her ... Amazing site, Amazing Creature ...
