Like a lot of other guys in here, I have been moaning about the speed of some broadband connections to not only Ausfish but other browser sites.............
When I rebooted my PC this morning, I got a message from Telstra advising a new upgrade to the Bigpond connection was now available. I downloaded it and the PC is back to flying like it used to............ (I checked with the Telstra Help Desk (normally depressing) and was advised that Telstra had been completing an upgrade of the entire cable system. Maybe this fixed it? But anyhow, I have been thundering through all the sites since without lightning speed.........give it a try
