Herd on VHF someone flipped on the bar, then saw VMR, Coast Guard & Police boats in the Rouse heading towards the bar.

Nah! It got a mention on Brownies, but no details on there, or the news.

Wouldn't surprise me. I was looking at it close up on Sat arvo and it sure didn't look too friendly.

I would have hated to have been out there and have it blow up like that and then try and come home.

in sundays paper they said it 6.5m plate half cab

G/ day all i was planning to head out the passage on sat morn myself but when the bom shows 2mts plus i decided that the seaway was a better option. Went out to the 36s out from the pin with no probs, the seaway at high was good as, but it was standing up a bit at around 1.00 pm on the low mainly the section out from the nth wall on the way home, just have to ask if a few fish are worth the risk i say nah !
