navionics charts

have any of U worked out how to make a backup copy of your navionics mmc chart.
I copied mine onto a new mmc card but my lowrance gps will not recognize it...any info appreciated guys

i asked the my local dealer the same Q. the other day.
the mmc cards that these maps are stored on are specially formatted so as that the gps units can read them.
or so the salesman says....
