Just got back from the Victorian 4wd and Fishing Show. I must say, it was the best one I have been to. The seemed to have more stands this year. (last year was a bit weak) I learnt a lot about new fishing areas, new gear, but most of all the prices for fishing gear was rock bottom. For example, Shakespeare Reels (Navigator 2050-060) with spare Spools, were selling at 2 for $60-00. Plastic/ rubber baits- 50 cents a packet. Squid jigs- 50 cents each. Game rod with Baitcaster real- $100-00. Shakespeare 13ft Surf rods-$20-00. 7ft Ugly sticks-$25-00. The list goes on. It was a great day.
