Howdy!

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of accommodation at North Straddy? I am looking to go over next week to do some surf fishing, and am looking to find a place to stay that is comfortable, and will be somewhere to fill in the time betwen fishing?

Any recommendations would be appreciated....

Cheers

i should add it will just be me and missus.... so we don't need a house or anything overly extravagant...

Amity cabins on the sheltered side but A1 and a good private fishing jetty on site. Out of bed, fish, cook fish on Barbie, have a few beers, back to bed.

My idea of a holiday:-)

PS + take photos of sunset over water too.

If you want to camp, go to Cylinder Beach camping grounds. It's a top spot, close to sea & pub. I've also stayed at the Whale Ocean Beach resort up on Point Lookout. It was a bit dearer than camping, but we had good views and it was only short walk down the hill to South Gorge which is a great spot to swim. Watch out for rips though.
