The show turned out to be very good viewing, would probably change the opinion of even his harshest critics. I for one enjoyed it very much and no matter what people think of him he has single handedly done more for fishing in Australia than any other individual.

On Ya Rexy.

Cheers, Clutter

I watched it, and thought the ending with that great kid who obviously loved his fishing was sensational. :'(

Loved the story his son told about the time they hit a log in their boat - stuffed the boat, son and other crew member pick up oars to begin rowing, Rexy picks up his rod and has a cast! LMAO ;D ;D
He's a genuine Aussy and one of the keenest fishos around - I can't flaw him, great character [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Yep, I agree. He's had plenty of ups, but also plenty of downs that a heap of people don't know about. We could all learn from the passion he displayed with everything he's done...footy, fishing, family, business

Cheers

Agreed. Any doubts I had about the man were tossed out the door last night. To see abloke in his position give so much of his own time and effort to those less fortunate than himself is the true mark of the man. The only fault I could find in the show was the appearance of Eddie McGuire. Why are we sujected to seemingly endless TV hours with Eddie staring back at us? As for Rex, good on you. I take my hat off to you.

Cheers,
BIGNICK.

It was great to see! One question though is What was the court case about in 92?
It was only touched on, with an out of court settlement?

Didn't watch it..not into This is Your Life at all...of course they are only going to show the good side of everyone. What I want to know is..how come a guy that does a fishing show and some radio shows got paid $11 mill a year..hell anyone could have foundations etc with that sort of money. As for AFL..YAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
