Just looked at Maburg Radar, and the lightning tracker and their has been just under 500 lightning strikes in the last 30 minutes 70 km west of us. Gatton and Toowoomba are coping a real hammering and its moving this way.
I am surprised their arent any severe weather warnings issued for this neck of the woods YET

Looks like a fun afternoon and evening to come....

oops, should have been 110km west of us, used to putting myself in the centre of the radar ring on the boat ;D

Just checked the radar again at 5.22pm.

MMMM storm disappeared into rain. Looks like Gympie area got the last of it.
