Would anyone out there in Ausfish land have any information on a website which locates sunken barges in the north queensland area. I have found a site before but have lost the address

Cheers Dan

Try this website http://oceans1.customer.netspace.net.au/qld-main.html
It lists shipwrecks along the Queensland coast.

13 miles due east of Noosa heads

WRECK DESCRIPTION

Idiots beware, this is not for the faint of heart. The wreck lies in 60mtrs, but it may as well lay in 90. To my knowledge there have been 22 dives done on this wreck with 3 'incidents'.

The place is alive with massive marine life and is the heart of Tiger shark terror-tory. Live ammunition scatters the sea floor including what I would imagine to be some very volatile Depth Charges. Aircraft engines and guns also lie about undisturbed.

The ship is split in half at about the engine room, the forward half is as yet undiscovered. The fish life is unlike anything we've seen before , and large specimens charge divers constantly. If you want to dive this wreck you will need to have your shit well and truly together.

Does anyone have the co-ords for this or know where i can find them ?
