just wondering if any bribanites can help me with a location i have read about in an old fishing mag but can"t seem to locate. from the article it sounds like it is on the south side around fishermans island and in the story was dessribed as a concrete pier like structure that is freaquented by cast netters. if any one has an idea on where it is as the article was very brief but it sounded like it was accessable by car. would be handy as the school jew are nearly ready at a couple of spots and some 30 cm mullet would be much welcome cheers :o :o

As you head out the river and on the inside of luggage point just near the green, theres a concrete platform (drain what ever) we often get mullet and herring just out in front of this platform.
Not sure about road access as never driven down to luggage, but theres always people fishing there, so there must be access either by car or foot.
If not try the creek near the flats opposite the water police, theres a car park up above and a sandy beach .
