I Need Definitions

Going fishing tomorrow and because of the reef fish prohibitions I am a bit confused about what the defnitions are. So,
1) What is the definition of a reef fish?
2) What is not allowed to be taken OR
3) What IS allowed to be taken.
Bloody ironic isn't it? Best damn day of the spring as far as wind goes and ya can't have a decent fish. Bloody criminal almost.
