Can you change the position formats of your GPS to the same as co-ordinates given to you? If so, change position co-ordinates, enter co-ordinates, then change back to your preferred setting. I have a Garmin 126 GPS and it can select several different position formats. Don't get confused with datums though (wgs84 etc).

:) :)

Most GPS receivers will do what you are asking in that most can be re-configured to accept either of those formats, which will also convert the underlying coords when you select a different format

BUT ?????????????

no where do you mention exactly what the source datum of the coordinates are (do you actually know that ??) , without that you could tend to be a little lost.

Cheers, Kerry.
