The Humane Society International have commenced legal proceedings against Japanese Company, Kyodo Senpaku Kaisha Ltd after attaining evidence that they have killed over 400 Minke Whales in an Australian Waters Whale Sanctury.

The federal Government has contributed $2 Million to tackle the problem of Ghost nets in the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Ghost nets are the discarded nets left by fisherman (mainly Indonesian) that sink to the bottom, roll up and get washed around for years, covering great distances and killing all types of Marine life in its path.
A win for one of the best fishing spots in Australia!!!!!!!!! ;D
