can you use a cast net in the brisbane river i.e colledges crossing, or how far up can you go and still be within the regs

What regs are you talking about. Being legal to use a cast net in QLD should mean that you can use it anywhere. I spose the Brissy River may have exclusion zones, as I am not from the area, I can't say.

You can not use a castnet in Freshwater in Queensland

???qld DPI gov e-library does not HAVE A MENTION OF CAST NET in the last 12 months which is all one can search. so i PUT IN AN OFFICIAL information request by e-mail so I am now in the hoop. Speak to you when I get a reply

You can use a cast net down stream of the weir above colleges crossing, above that wall is considered fresh water
