Far North Coast here. I fish from Ballina/Evans Head. I'm sure that there are people from further south, though a lot of the discussion seems to centre on SE Qld. There's a guy goes under "basserman" from Port Macquarie. Is that somewhere near you?. He's a platinum member and often has really useful insights - haven't seen anything from him lately though

I agree fantastic site - people very generous with their knowledge.

I'm 30mins south of Port Macquarie, a place called North Haven.

I'm from Byron Bay originally but am living in the Philippines at the moment.
Closest I have fished to your neck of the woods was in july 04 at Cresent Head to Pt Plommer. Bloody beautiful area that.

What sort of fishing do you do (boat off shore / land based / estuary)?

Whats the coast south of Port like, similar to Cresent and the area just north? Would love to get down that way sometime in the future for camping and beach / rock fishing.
