for those who #are interested in marlin fishing... or just wanna see what goes on when those giant black marlin hit cairns each year

Just watched the show and was disappointed with the lack of actual fishing content.

I reckon the riveria got more air time and advertising than the fish.

Seems like a big waste of money if you ask me.

And to kill a 1000lb fish just because it is big? That is just wrong.

The reception on my TV is so crap today (worse when its windy) I can't even see the boat, I need cable :-/

God i would have been happy to just catch the bait they used.

alex- with the money riv would have put into the tournament is it any wonder there was more shots of the boats than the fish. there was some big sukas though... as long as a trophy is offered for the biggest marlin weighed there is always going to be at least one killed. a dam shame i know.

man they were some awesome fish and that riviera boat well what can i say magnificent. i agree with others that it is a damn shame to kill such a beautiful large fish. if only i was rich i would be up there with those blokes joinging in.
