dose anyone know where and how much it costs to hire a boat for the day?
looking at something around 4-4.5m with a 30-50hp on the back on either the Gold Coast or Bribie?
haven't got a tow bar so it will have to be somewhere, were the boats are already on the water.
thanks
Mark
Nothing I know of on the sunny coast there is one in Deception bay but looks like you would need to tow it.

For years there use to be a boat hire from the beach beside the bridge at Bribie.
Sorry but I do not know if the boat hire is still there.
And I do not think they use to hire the boats you want but had more the size to putter up and down the passage.
As for cost it was about $45 for 4 hours last time I was up that way.
Hope this helped anyway. Cheers Kev.

Hi Mark...
The only two places I have (so far) found that hire boats withd ecent size motors (and not the lawnmower put-put-put-put variety) are...
Brisbane Boat Hire at http://www.brisbaneboathire.com.au
and Mirage Boat Hire on the gold coast... hmm lost the URL
http://www.mirageboathire.com.au/
If you find others and they are decently priced, please gimme a hoy... we are still looking too :)
