VHF Radio licence results

Myself and Mrs Y-Not went to Vikkie Pt VMR a few weeks ago and did our VHF radio course with Lloyd. Today we got our results- we both passed! Has anyone else got their results yet?

I have not had notification from OMC yet, but I got a pm before from Cuda before who passed, so thats 3 out of 14 so far... I should get the full list tomorrow I would expect.

i did the test twice and failed both. the first was on the new test and our class was the first class to do it, the dads army teacher didnt even know how to teach it yet and only 2 out of 30 passed.the second time i got 100% in the mutiple choice and 79% in the other part and u must get at least 80% in both to pass. what a pisser.

I know what you mean, I encountered the same thing at another place that shall remain nameless, 4 out of about 30 passed when I sat mine, got it first time thankfully as the stress would have been to much for me, in those days the first 5 questions you had to provide written answers to the question.... we were the first group this place put through after the OMC took over... hopefully things have improved dramaticly wherever you sit a course nowdays....

I have had contact from 2 others who arent Ausfish members and they also both passed. 5 out of 14 so far, hopefully everyone will pass... should know tomorrow everyones results, fingers crossed

its been about a year and a half since i failed the second time maby its a bit easer or they know how to teach it. i rember the teacher saying that he and we shouldnt worry about a few chapters of the book so i didnt, (stupidity) and my test had a heap of questions on those chapters.bot

i passed as well Lloyd, & here i was thinking i wouldn't & bugger up your good average. must have been your teaching ;Das i only had time to look at a few pages of the manual :-/

9/14 so far then, still 5 to go, I think that is ALL the Ausfishers passed though so thats good....

A bright group indeed!!!

I person would not tick the box and release the results to me but I know he passed as the licence numbers are issued in sequence and he is in the middle, their is a gap of 1 number, he had to have passed.

Kennedy C top of the class 100% in both sections.... what a man[smiley=scholar.gif]
Jenson D 100% section A 95% section B
Gordon T 100% Section B
Roubin C 100% Section B

10 people scored 95% or better in section B
16 scores between both sections equalling 90% or more

All the rest of the group scored highly in 1 or both sections
Very pleasing result, makes me feel I have achieved something when you all do so well
