Hi Greg30,
Try the Goodna boat ramp of a night time .
I have seen a previos posting on this site that it all happens down there.
Not sure of what bait to use though.
Good luck,
Graham.

Hi greg 30 go the goodna boat ramp on a late afternoon use a live catfish or bream of you can get one or a whole mullet on a 10 hook make sure you have good leader (wire trace ) and a float set the bait to about 6 to 8 ft and bingo your in business

Lived in Ipswich as a kid and did plenty of fishing there. Caught sharks near town bridge using half an eel on ganged hooks.
We used to stop about 50%. ;)
