Does anybody know of a website where you can get actual real time conditions. I use Bearu Of Met which are OK for forecasts but real time conditions would be tops....

There is a section on BOM that you can look at that, look for SE Qld boating area observations under all Qld observations, try this link:
http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDQ65117.html
It tells you wind direction/speed, rainfall, barometric pressure. Click on the blue name of the area you are interested in and it gives you observations for the past 72 hours.
Hope this helps.

I suppose all depends where ya live hey #???

Sites like this are close to real time

http://www.kbsc.com.au/results/weather/Current_Vantage_Pro_Plus.htm

http://www.kbsc.com.au/results/weather/Weather_Summary_Vantage_Pro_Plus.htm

http://www.kbsc.com.au/results/weather/History_Vantage_Pro_Plus.htm

but for real-time web access one needs an appropriate web connection and for locations where the weather conditions are really required then this can be rather diffcult and expensive.

Real-time voice is another option and more suited to remote type locations. Real-time voice is about as real-time as one can get.
