;D This may sound like a strange request, but does anyone have any hints / tips or good fishing places in Norway, I will have a few days to myself there in May.
I have traveled around Norway a bit but until now haven’t considered fishing there. So if anyone knows of a web page or contacts for charters I would appreciate them.
Oslo will be the start point and I will eventually end up in Bergen. I will be able to venture to other places if Need to.
Cheers

Kendall,

Have been there a few times myself. Always working though, no play.
I have asked a few of the Norwegians that I work with here, but most of them live a bit further north than where you will be. The only thing they said was cod was big on the agenda along with haddock and a few other names that I can't pronounce.
One guy did say that you can hire a cabin that comes with a small boat all along the coastline. Don't know if this is an option.
Will keep an ear out and let you know if I hear anything

You want to go fresh or Sea?
I've fished there but further up north, fishing mountain streams is cool....

Just talking to a friend about a conference in northern Norway. If you go outside carry a gun to scare away polar bears :o
