Check this out.

This seller moves lots of VHF transceivers , usually they go for about the AU$250 mark. I asked about warranty and their reply was
"We provide the warranty service. In most cases it is a straight swap for a new one. If it needs to be repaired then we send it back to the factory."

Really since the licencing of the actual VHF radio (as opposed to the operators licence) some organistations are now finding a pull out of associate radio club type members :( where being a member actually doubled in covering the VHF radio licence (not operators licence)

Sort of goes to highlight the importance many put on licence requirements, which tends to indictae many are now operating VHF without a licence [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

Cheers, Kerry.

I know one little black duck who refuses to part with a single cent for a flamin VHF licence. 8)
Talk about over regulation!

Just a note for those without a MORVCP (Marine Radio Operators VHF Certificate of Proficiency)!!!
Penalties for use of VHF without a certificate are 2 years jail and or $165,000 jail
