Shark Attack in the Brisbane River

Bet that got your attention. Today's Sydney sunday paper reports that a horse was attacked by a bull shark in the river yesterday. That make any headlines up there ???

Yep, it made the 6'oclock news.
The guy reckoned it tried to pull the horse in.
The news reader reported it to be at kholo above the weir but the footage was filmed at colleges crossing, a popular kids swimming hole in the upper tidal reaches.

one i heard last week was somewhere around here on the mid north coast
little nip on the horses leg few stiches and thats all
but with the amount of bull and other sharks in the rivers it isn't hard to understand
hell we have had bass and bream and other fish stolen by sharks in the river and every few trips see atleast a couple some large some small
(largets i have seen was a 8footer smallest wouldn't of even been a foot even seen a baby hammerhead sunning itself on the surface)
so how many has there been this week or is it just some hoxes ???
