I love seabreeze.com and it's amazing how accurate the wind forecasts are.

Twice in the last year I've taken two weeks off to do some fishing in NQ.

I'm in Townsville now and can't see that I'll be doing anything on the water.

Oh well, I can always buy another reel.

This wind always happens this time of year. These SE winds bring up the mackeral from down south so let em blow

These winds are not sea breezes. A traditional sea breeze in usualy the afternoon winds that come from the nor east after the land temp overtakes the water temp. These winds (referred to as 'the trade wind') are produced by the large high pressure systems that cruise the bottom of Australia through winter. As we get further into winter the high pressures move more into the centre of Australia and we (QLD) start to get more of a Sou west wind instead of Sou east wind. (You know those dry and cold Ekka winds)
Anyhow, I have been keeping a bit of an eye on it and it doesn't realy look like stopping for a while. Every time the high moves into the Tasman another high is ready to replace it. So get used to it for a while guys! Nothing anyone can do.

Hey Devo, come to Pappa big spaniards!

I'm doing Cardwell for a few days so should be OK on the north side of the island. Sometimes you've just got to travel to suit the conditions.

Hi getwet, clicked on your handle and it said youre at Noosa.
Plenty of wind unaffected areas in the river there, and last time I checked, it had wet stuff in it.
Spare a thought for us in Bris, can't compare our river to yours.
Short of someone dying, I am going Saturday, regardless of wind. :P

Mick, we were actually referring to the web site www.seabreeze.com, not sea breezes.
