Just had a look at this DVD plus a few other similar freebies from the DPI and have to say are pretty interesting. They measure this barra flat on its side and it is 93cm then they measure it hanging up and it is 3 cm longer. Definetly worth a look

wonder if they broke its neck by hanging it up? for a few extra cms.. why bother possibly causing irreversible damage to a fish by hanging it up.. especially if you plan to release..

I've got the cd too its pretty good and they don't set out to be preachy even highlighting past mistakes of their own e.g hanging of fish. #(I rang them to get my copy)They actually take one of the Barra that they stretched and x-rayed it.
I also liked the comment regarding the bloke holding the big girl up for a photo pre-release. #"Just look at how close the angler is to death himself. #Just a flick of the tail and one of those spike could go straight into his neck..." #:o #I'm sure he would have died a happy man.
