Here's a sign I found at Lesley Dam at Warwick. Which bit do you take notice of?? :-/
Seriously, if you see a sign like this what do you do?
(a) Rip the sign down that doesn't suite
(b) Take notice of the worst possible option (ie don't go fishing)
(c) pretend not to have seen any signs
(d) wonder??
I'm open to any other suggestions
;)

i'd say check with the qld fish mangement group to see if the sign has been placed there by them as closed means closed don't it ?

I hope you are being funny jimbo - ?I'm sure they don't need that sort of "snag" in the water.

Some poor pr!ck would then have to put up another one

QFMA (middle sign) is defunct, kaputt - organisationus nillus !

happened a couple of years back with typical Beattie Government style - an organisation set up & legislated to maintain the interests of ALL fisheries users toward sustainable development, is allowed to run inefficently making decisions without decent advice & so gets swallowed up by a bigger bureaucracy with its only original legislated mandate being the support of primary industry.
Henry P. well done.

The QFS - bottom sign - is the branch of the DPI that replaced the QFMA & as such seems to be the most recent advice on that post. I would ring the number on that sign or the top sign.

Besides, I think those signs are a set up. #>:(

They certainly aren't REAL country Qld signs...
Where are all the shot pellet marks?

;) ;D

OK guys this might help a bit, This is the reply I recieved from the council. It answers the question, but it seems the signage could be improved. ::)

I like the sign with the frog going fishing. More artistic than the rest.
Thats the one I would take notice of.

Do you remember the song.
Signs signs everywhere theres signs blocking my view breaking my mind.
Do this dont do that, cant you read the signs.

Well it went something like that.
