Beach fishing secure carparking

Can anyone advise on where I can go and have a fish on the beach at late afternoon and into the night around the bottm end of the Gold Coast or Nth NSW ( Kingscliffe etc)without having to worry about the car. - Thanks in advance

Make sure that nobody can look into the window and see something that they might like. I even leave the glove box open and empty so that they won't think i'm hiding something of value.

Mate, do as above but also be wary of drunken hoons wandering the beach late at night. Had a bit of a worrying time when a couple of them walked out of the sand dunes just below Pottsville around 10pm one night when I was fishing by myself just over the bridge from the council caravan park where my wife and I was camped. They wandered off down the beach a bit and I went over the dune and back to the caravan park, they may of been harmless but I was not taking a chance,the foul language was enough for me to be wary of them.
