G-DAY ALL
I have a current NSW boat licence and Im heading over the border into QLD terrority to catch all the fish I have read reports about. ;D will my boat licence be valid in QLD ??? can anyone help ........ please

Queensland transport 13 23 80 or www.transport.qld.gov.au

Are you moving up here or holidaying ?

I take my boat up & don't worry. I looked into it years ago and I don't remember the exact details but you are fine using the licence in Qld for the short term for holidays or short stays. If you move to Qld you need to change licences.

thanks for the number; just holidaying at the moment just waiting for the redundancy package maybe 1-2 years yet but looking to build a weekender in the burrum district.(howard)

I just called the queensland transport and after I got past the (your call is important to us section) any interstate licence is valid In the state of queensland as long your postal address Is interstate and the licence is current.
