On the SE side of Cook Island theres about a 40-50 ft steel hull yatch sitting up high and dry with its Sail still up.
Talked to the VMR Rescue boat that was still there anfd he said it ran into the Island last nite (charter boat what charter boat). Two peopl on board were taken off last nite. One was the Owner and the other was a Skipper he Hired to take the yatch from Pittwater to Up north somewere
Would of been good conditions last nite with no swell and stuff all wind ,must of hit it at full speed and on a high tide to be as far up the Islands rocks as it is . Vmr guys seem to think they won't be able to get it off the Island
Spewin didn't have camera with me

Just heard on radio that a 30' went up at DI as well. What is with these people with all the nav aids we have. Maybe that is part of the problem?

Yea I was fishing in the tweed this morning and saw the guys going in and out, after a quick chat they said one had run aground on cook.Must have thought that big thing on his radar was rain?

My wife reckons a blonde must have been in control of the vessel.

Top effort by the rent a skipper, how the hell did he manage to get it there. Should be awarded a trophy for that effort.
