My business partner is heading to the Whitsundays in early to mid september and is looking to hire a tinny or a cuddy of sorts for about a week. We can only find 40ft cruisers online so does anyone have any tips on where to get one. He's got a towbar and if required will tow for part of the way.
cheers BB

Give Phil a ring at Tropic Car Hire. He has a side business called Beach-house Boat Hire and has a 4.75 Top Ender. 70hp Yammy with side console, sounder, live well....excellent boat. Day rate is about $200 a day but may get cheaper for week long. He also has a couple of smaller and cheaper options.

Regards

G'day Mate,

I don't know if it's any help, but I bought my tinnie from a bloke who has a "tow & go" business at Rocklea (I know it's a helluva drive). He's got a range of boats and discounts apply the longer you rent for.

See here: www.brisbaneboathire.com.au

Please note that I'm not connected with the business in any way, and haven't used his services so can't vouch for how good or bad the service may be...

Hope this helps.

Good luck,
Mike
