Thanks peoples.
After Dfox and B_Unit replied went to the amonline.net site and started to go thru the wrasses (heaps of then).
Reel hard, mate saw the crimson banded and thought that it was it as well. Only thing that put me off it was they say white cheeks and tail, but these could have changed out or the water as well. Again guys thanks for the help.

Angla and Skippa thanks for the heads up on the sexing. Glad that we threw it back. Now knowing it was a lady, actually the website says that it was male, sorry boyz. You two every had this trouble b4, working out the sex of different things ;D ;D ;D ;D :o :o :o

Brejen,
The Crimson Banded Wrasse has white Spots when it is young and looses them when older, Adult fish is 30cm.
It looks just like the one in the pic in my book going by the info in my book.
Also looks similar to a gold spot Wrasse from a catch pic I have only coloured different.
Cheers Kev. :)

Kev thanks a heap, looked at my book as well and the pic is nearly exact but must be young male as still white cheeks. Amazing how the female is so different. As i said never seen one like this b4 and now once again a little more knowledgable cause of the memebers of this site..

Now who knows the winning lotto numbers for next week ;D ;D .
