Was just discussing this, chicken pellets + bread + sand + tuna oil is a good mix - well thats what I'm mixing up today anyway ;) :-X What are you fishing for? Where?

Thanks for that. At what ratio do you mix or doesn't it matter? Also do you freeze it or to use or just use it fresh? Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn

Cheers Phil

Duno mate, I'm just gunna chuck it all in and see what happens ;D I'm getting 2kg of pellets, I've got about a loaf of stale bread in the kitchen, about 500ml of tuna oil left in boat and I'll mix in some sand when I get to the ramp tomorrow. Probably make it up to about a 10L bucket full. A few pilly pieces in your trail never goes astray either ;)

If I'm fishing for bream I soak Wheat in boiling water over night then add tuna oil or something simular, it seems to work quiet well

Try crushed cockles, lots of bread, bran, weet-bix, sardines/pilchards crushed, tuna oil.

or

If you can get hold of it..... the pellets they use for aquaculture feed are great. They are made with crude fish protein and work well in salt or freshwater.

Buy a cheap blender you will never look back. I like to use knee high stockings to put the burley in. They freeze well and they get the fish interested but they dont get a feed. I have also found adding worstecier sauce to the mix work really well.
