Guys this is my first post, tho I have been a regular reader of your works for a few months. Reading your trip reports takes me away from work to a place I would rather be. OK so I'd rather be any where than at work! But it is good to hear of the successes and the failures, and hopefully pick up some tidbits of info along the way. Catch you around the traps

Hey MOZ , good to see another Queenslander joining the ranks of Ausfish.

Please feel free to have a say, opinion or post up some tips or info.

Living down by the bay should see you on the water a fair bit I reckon ?

Cheers Phill

Guys
Thanks all for the welcome.

Rando:- They sure do pull but you know I got that one on 15 lb mono, straightened out a 6/0 eagle claw but the other hook held (luckily). A more experienced mate told me earlier that day I would not get any thing up on the 15 lb line.

Lucky_Phill:- 5 mins to 2 boat ramps and another 2 only 10 mins away. Why would you live anywhere else?

Corry:- I have been wanting to get up that way (1770), that might be the push that I need.

Kratzy:- Do you still get those big Golden Trevally in Hervey bay? Going back to last decade wife and I got 11 between 17 and 22 lb, in 3 days, now there's a fish that doesn't know when to give up. They were all on 15 lb mono also.
